Our Story

A mother in-law and daughter in-law duo!

At The Radix, we believe great food starts at the root—with fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and a passion for hospitality.

 

Founded on April 19, 2024, by mother and daughter-in-law duo Catherine and Kayla Brooks, The Radix is a family-owned and operated restaurant dedicated to creating unforgettable dining experiences. Our mission is simple: to return to the essence of good food, where every meal is crafted with care and every guest feels at home.

 

Guiding our kitchen is Chef Joshua Tidd, whose culinary journey has taken him across the country, refining his skills and blending diverse flavors and techniques. Every dish on our menu is carefully curated, featuring locally sourced ingredients—including premium beef raised sustainably at our family farm, Hillcrest Homestead, in Rushford, NY.
